New Chinese carmaker Qoros to unveil first sedan at Geneva Motor Show 2013

Qoros, a newcomer on the Chinese car market, will unveil its very first model, a compact sedan headed for European and Asian markets, at the Geneva Motor Show, which runs from March 7 to 17, 2013.

The first sketches made available by Qoros show a model with a dynamic design that hints at the powerful sedans of German carmakers. Qoros also came up with a new way to integrate daytime running lights by setting up illuminated LED strips at the top edge of the headlight clusters to improve visibility.
The model boasts an internally developed multimedia system, with a touch screen that ensures optimal communication between the driver and the vehicle. The team of designers that worked on the Qoros model also created the multimedia interface's graphic elements on top of designing the screen itself.
Qoros plans to unveil the model to the world at the Geneva Motor Show, in March 2013, alongside two concepts that will provide a glimpse of other models to come. The Qoros sedan is expected to hit the Chinese market in late 2013, shortly followed by a launch in Europe. The brand plans to launch new models approximately every six months to develop its range.
Qoros is a joint-venture founded in 2007 by Chinese brand Chery Automobile and the Israel Corporation holding.
